What freedom is autonomy when choices stem from circuitry that’s wired from the ache of past mistakes that make our history?
A cunning inner voice is cast from past impressions made to last in memory that’s tough to lose- its spinal grit, mind-ship’s main mast.
The avenues of thoughts we choose to follow are a triggered ruse, which color sight like tinted specs and coach the muse on words to use
when contemplating mental treks through territory that’s complex and subtly vexed with hidden snares that tend to clutter and perplex.
A pristine mind that’s free of cares will not be prompted by affairs of bygone times, nor programmed acts for which we might be living heirs.
Pain’s cancelled check, no banker backs, so let us aim for newer tracks and not repeat the same refrain, refuse to pay life’s prime time- tax.
* Suggestions for a new title are welcome~

Interesting, rama, a complex form that uses a rhyme scheme I can't imagine writing. Well done to my free verse eye. Ron
