I cradle Zeus, our lovely flame-point, on a wicker chair, a blue woolen blanket draped over us...here in my meditation corner.
He gazes up at me with eyes the color of contentment, and in this moment I experience life's perfection.
Even as I rise to pick up a pen and perch on the edge of my bed, he leaps to join me, sitting statue-straight, and purrs- expressing the love he has held since he was a kitten in the palace of the King of Siam.

Jon,
On a first read, love how you ended this.
Not too sure of the 'here in my meditation corner'.
How's the knee doing?

Jon,
great poem... I really like the picture that you paint here... as always your words bring such a calming tone and presence. Can I play with it a little??? Please use anything you like or feel free to ignore all!!!!
While meditating in a comfy whicker chair, I cradle Zeus, (our lovely flame-point)- a sky-blue woolen blanket snuggled around us.
He gazes up at me with eyes the color of contentment, and in this moment I experience one of life's epiphany's.
Even as I rise to pick up a pen and sit on the edge of my bed, he leaps and joins me, sitting statue-straight;
expressing the love he has held since he was a kitten in the palace of the King of Siam.
I hope this gives you a little different perspective,
-Jarls

Hurt the knee, Bro? My neck and back have been the problem here. Love the poem, just tossing a couple of ideas at ya. You know what to do with what don't work. Ron I cradle Zeus, our lovely flame-point Tom, on a wicker chair, a blue woolen blanket draped over us...here in my meditation corner. He gazes up at me with eyes the color of contentment, and in this moment I experience life's perfection. Even as I rise to pick up a pen and perch on the edge of my bed, he leaps to join me, sitting statue-straight, and purrs- I don't know just like the break here?expressing the love he has held since he was a kitten in the palace of the King of Siam.
