...still smoothing out the rough edges....
Let's all play the blame game, that'll pass time in the unemployment line watch them toss the political hot potato, see who burns
or...we could pull each others fingers, since they're all pointing anyway, float down Wall Street on a massive wind, like Snoopy on Thanksgiving (less his doghouse of course) no need to be embarrassed, they never notice the stink.
Let's tell our children bedtime stories about the day when Meany Greeny forgot to tell Hilly and Billy, that the economy was falling, or Georgie Porgie who was busy
playing Ding Dong Ditch and Destroy a few more amendments from the bill of rights, the bonus round constitutional Jeopardy for corrupt players of all ages.
No batteries required just a few well wired lies and a scientifically challenged public, Example: for a 1000 points, Barbie, tell us what is the boiling point of steel?
How's about travel Monopoly: The Nationalized Edition? One quick stop at the bank and Uncle Sam will give us all the direction we need for the open road to socialism to unfold before us, no need to touch the wheel it's all been decided, just relax
keep our eyes closed, we won't miss a thing, the Truth is all obstructed and the Consequence to die for.[/font]

I'm laughing because I can hear you saying this.
A few minor nits in line structure, but a definite winner.
Consider pairing it with your other piece and writing a third, maybe.

That's a good one, Donna, your voice is booming in this one. Very well worded.
