with the early arrivals;

talk shop, name drops
topped with allegory sop

      (shear peasant denials)

all the live-long-day.

They cleave-cleave unnecessary parts,
upending earnest cartography
spinning from the heart.

But w(h)ee! who play announce the day
before they rise to (suck a cup)

I really like this but confess there are many gaps in my understanding. I need your help with the meaning here and there I believe the central theme is deception and hypocrisy …is this the case? And why “wee”

first of all you picked up on a typo omission! Thanx, What I was thinking and what I typed were two different animals.... and second is yes on your thematic observation but with the brite comeback of creative spirit as the kicker. Better to be bad and playful than to never have played at all.
