listen to the T lecture and conjecture
describe us as the nation we are become today
T is for the trigger we always figure we will need
chosen for the way we understood steel machined to hold and mold a country into one baby nation begun with gunsmoke nursed from flintlock and musket then others more efficient
like the elegance we wore against pioneer shoulders that oiled and prized old Indian killer with its finely rifled blue-black bore regularly bathed with uniquely fragrant shine from Hoppys #9
Winchester the ambitious gun that handed us a new frontier
our countless fingers pulled countless triggers repeating rifles repeated over over over loud with little thought hardly any wisdom and not enough fear
then our great advancement into the ultimate weapon that could vaporize a planet
and now many infinitely more bloody weapons fill our terrifying stores
and we are worthy to be called the infamous and proud exceeding deadly Americans
the T that taught a world two things
how to kill
and how to disappear
