in some places I have walked one must tread poisoned shallows
but here we join the sacred and dance their joyous fountains
we spin them pure turn them full lift them fathomless and clear
it is here twirled free we can caress the boundless waters

A wonderful glimpse of the dervish bliss....when they spin swiftly, all colors blend to white, even the shadows of poisonous shallows.
Very nice, Michael~

I like this one. and agree with above. The only thing that I would suggest thinking about would be the word caress, I would have liked to see something that tied more to water. or flow. My muse is sleeping though, so I can't think of a good idea choice at the moment. but, I think if that word tied better it would be even more strong.
Well done! -piper

Yes, it is here. Wherever here is........that is the place we need to be.

Rama----that is a wonderful way to describe their state of being, where everything divided is blended to one...
David----yes, a place where dizziness is a good thing...
Piper----the Dervish binds his love to God-love with his spinning----he perceives God-love as a fountain of energy that is continually drawing him into itself, as he reaches out to carress it, enter it, finally becoming altogether submersed in it, by means of the ever-increasing energy vortex created by his spin----as I have thought on this, I can see his energy vortex as another way of describing the spinning function of his own merkabah light body----all truth is parallel, and this is a fascinating example of that...
Jon----you have that place in the three words "it is here"----we are each that place----and at this point in space and time, we are all, in some way or another, continuing the evolutionary process of remembering that, remembering who we are, from Whom we came, and of Whom we are each a part...
