Sailing away the wayfarer I bury the sun in my pocket, chill the desert dune into night.
Like a dreamy bird I venture lofty breeze, to pretty silence.
Meticulous black forms blind space hollow shadows, innocent stir as faint, penumbra tides embrace.
Doubts turn to hope and fears to joy ‘tis a holy path toward heaven.
Late this hour understanding beyond the darkness a voice calls; Come unto me my beloved
fear not life's sojourn and illume, for I shall be with you always.

Nice feeling tone here, Anthony. Especially enjoyed the final two stanzas. 'Tis indeed a holy path.....

What a serene and lovely read! Thanks for granting us a glimpse of your journey along the supreme and Sacred path.
Loved the phrase I bury the sun in my pocket. Very original.
The tone of this poem is spiritual and deep. No nits at all, just blissful enjoyment.

Hi, Anthony. I love it all...till the last line, which falls a little flatly cliche to me when shone up against some really good lines earlier in the poem. Is there another way of saying just what you've said, but in a fresher state?
