She had the look of contempt only a real mother could love. Taut-jawed, steely stare, rigidly entitled, past tense since the bra burning rite of passage left her hanging. No man was, to her, the man that they should be, to the she they perceived to be a spear ritual predator.

As always, Rick, a great play, or plays, on words. One thing: Taut-jawed

yes, that is how it was----major anti-male attitudes, even among the straight women----most of the movement's feminists were straight women, too, since, of course, most women are straight, so that attitude really was tragic, all the way around...
funny thing is that it is the lesbians who are usually defined by the male of the species as the man-haters----not so----violence haters is more accurate----many, many lesbians, including this one, list as many men among their friends as women, simply because they often find men easier to get along with...

Rick, I don't think you can let " to she who" stand. "To" is a preposition, and it's object is "her." I know it messes up the sound of that line, but "to she" is not acceptable. (God has spoken. Now he goes to bed.)

You might want to listen to 'God', Rick.
Too funny, Ken.
