Smooth pebbles revealed through crystal waters that carry scores of spinning silver balls. Moved by some secret current; a subtle distant whirlpool. Each reflecting off the other –ad infinitum. Each action a gentle reaction. Revolving but still; capturing the surrounds in grey spherical images Interconnected, web-like with minimal interaction; each a mirror to the other, the other, the other..…. www.visualarts.qld.gov.au/content/apt2002_standard.asp?name=APT_Artists_Yayoi_Kusamawww.galeriepieceunique.com/infoframes/kusama5.htmAn attempt to describe Narcissus Garden by Yayoi Kusama. A Japanese painter obsessed with repetition, pattern, and accumulation. Also novelist-poet. Suffers Depersonalisation Syndrome.

do you think maybe the images in your description might be a bit too sacred and pristine to denigrate/disturb with those last two lines?----I enjoyed the description of the pool, and usually, I love shock endings like you have in those last lines----but in this case, I think they ruin the poem----let its beauty be----you have such a strong gift for imaging abstract concepts, like the tranquility here, with your descriptions of physical objects----let it stand alone...we need it...that's your point...we don't have enough of that tranquility in our lives today, and you gave it to us here...don't take it away...

Done - a salute to solitude but - you are full of surprises M- I did have second thoughts about the last stanza.
As I stood a few times as one does, and contemplated her work, each time someone (not always a child) would lift/throw/shove several, violently.

Very nice, Al; I'd strike line 13. It seems obvious this would be the artist's intent, and I'd move "the other, the other..." to stand alone as a closing line. Regardless, excellent work. Ron

Done! R, you of course were correct..
I can't get away with anything .........even if me, the "artist", intended!!!
Many thanks for sparing time to look over my scribbling.
