good one, John----looked into meaning of praxis----the active praxis of mysticism allows sight, as in insight, or intuitive awareness----it allows one to read between the lines, to "see" someone's contempt by means of the third eye, without the need for the physical eyes to view the person----it allows one to "see" in people what they cannot or will not acknowledge in themselves----the goal of Aristotle's praxis of theoria was "seeing" truth----and as we both know, truth is often unpleasant...
I imagine various readers will understand your poem in various ways----it has that kind of flexiblity----love poems like that----most likely, the way I read it has nothing to do with why you wrote it, but it was fun to share my thoughts, anyway...hope you don't mind...
