I often glare at them.
Her swelling womb
reproducing an inertial vulnerability
immanently as innocent
for its impending needs
as its parents, proclaimed,
for its conception.
An immaculate deception,
though they say,
a miracle,
to engender acceptance.
I call it teen sex,
tendered with irrelevant
reluctance to approve
pending a lifetime
of proof.
They feel obligation
beyond their intent
bent to provide
more than its name,
they are frightened
by my grandchild:
Gracie Love DeSimone.
I am pleased.
They will not know,
