Musically Declined
The old song started, grainy and obscure, A prime example of the kind of tune I used to find when life and love was pure On a deep-heated Southern afternoon.
It was the New Wave decade. Metal, too, But I had secretly admired Manilow And stupidly admitted it to you. Would I repeat that past disclosure? No.
I’d sing Def Leppard. Surely Photograph Wouldn’t create the same derisive snort that had resulted from my social gaffe. That level of disdain has no retort.
A lesson, fellas. When she gets you randy, Don’t let her in your head. God damn you, Mandy.

You certainly gave without taking, Dave. Like the topic and the humor........
In the opening line of S2, I might change it to read... "It was the New Wave decade, metal too."
Thanks for the read, friend.

Thank you, my friend. I'll take a gander at that line.
