Propitious .
I doodle all the day,
such a waste of time,
doodling;
so I gather nuts in a figurative sense,
keep shells, toss the meat.
Not to be contrary,
just being me.
I doodle all the day;
sometimes I scribble off the page,
it's my way of working up to dawdling.

You certainly are having a streak of humor lately. ;D
Favorite part:
so I gather nuts in a figurative sense,
keep shells, toss the meat.
and
sometimes I scribble off the page,
No other comments except LOL

Ron, I like this one. My thoughts have been on the dark side lately and this is a refreshing change. I don't have to look up any of the words. LOL! Marion

Ron, Some thoughts. Maggie
I doodle all the day—
such a waste of time,
doodling;
so I gather nuts in a figurative sense,
keep(ing) the shells, toss(ing) the meat.
sometimes I scribble off the page,
working my way up to dawdling.

I like dwadling as compared to doodling, yup I'm a regular "Yankee Dwadle Dandy"! Nice piece of scribble Ron.

I hear you loud and clear, brother. Kind of living life in reverse...keeping the shells..........I think it was Hugh Prather in "Notes to Myself" who said something about being able to pick up lint balls from the rug...........and it not really being a waste of time.........
