Nacho's In the Stomach
Nacho says, I miss puking
wandering around nonchalant as a bird following the winds of conversation
listening to the animals croak, chirp; as waves of laughter roar from pockets of the room.
Nacho stumbles. The earth quakes. Elephant feet of children run by; as lost mannerism's slap him from the side, from behind.
I tell Nacho he must care for himself.
Nacho says, The stomach must be filled, a smile must remain frozen
so I can walk off forgetting the cold ignoring the mud.
Then I will pour forth demonstrating my insides. The ground requests it!
See that mare over there. She will not break...No! I will.
Then she'll trust me, and if she doesn't at least I'll have a stronger stomach.

Just talking to Ron (Halfshell) about L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E Poems.
I like what you're doing here. Read Ron's poem if you haven't already.
