Stone
Sometimes bathing in the angry tides of the listless sea Sometimes peacefully resting on the concrete ground Sometimes skiing unperturbed with the merry waves Sometimes sleeping lazily at the corner of the drain
Sometimes hurled to portray the simmering hatred Sometimes etched upon to signify someone's love Sometimes buried amidst the red lava of volcanoes Sometimes engraved for life in a pillar of the building
Sometimes worshiped and showered with the milk Sometimes kicked and abused to alleviate frustrations Sometimes working overtime to impart the luck Sometimes cursed upon and burnt in a fit of rage
Sometimes the paperweight, sometimes the M-seal Sometimes the cricket stump, sometimes the drain lid... Sometimes we wonder that the stone is so lifeless Sometimes the stone wonders how we are so similar
