and yet,
my brother Jon
it is on this tiny dot
we thrive

here
upon her blue
her green
we learn the truth
of what it means
to be alive

we come to know
who we are

also that each one of us
is actually all of us
on all the dots and plots
added into one

and even though
we may not know
we hurt
still
when we fear
hate
kill
we all hurt a lot

but then
when we laugh
all
laugh with us

when we care for one
we care for every one

when we die
all die a little too

so let it be here
we are rebirthed
on this pale blue dot
called Earth
