thought you had finally gone drove you away myself on that god-awful winter’s day
but here you stand needing and naked before me again
here where I am all that I was though stiffened by hate late to my party of one you have come
down through the depths of black bottom eyes I fall wondering how long since you thrust that twist of pink tongue across mine
how long since we drank labored breaths devoured our eons of time
too soon I know I shall kneel just to beg at your feet in wilted and broken defeat but right now I must wait and rest
while we reprise how once we knew raw virgin forest where cool grass moistly grew around great spreading trees and we crushed it together beneath innocent toes
let us squeeze on the glow of the thunderous heat that heals as it pumps between two pairs of tremorous legs flooding two hot swollen fields
the familiar scent of your musk leads me to ponder once more how to possibly trust you
when the sweet killing sound of your voice demands I drop to my knees you fully anoint the top my head till I tighten the desperate grasp of these traitorous hands practiced fingers sunk deep in your round perfect ass
and bury my face in that one tender place we both really can live where we know we will always get back all that we ever can give
O god how long has it been

Bleak, gut-wrenching, transfixing.... this is a tremendous piece Michael.

This is an emotional roller coaster which easily portrays the relationship. I agree with johnnysaturn in that this is gut- wrenching indeed. An excellent title.
I can sense that soon I will kneel at your feet in wilted and broken defeat but for now I shall wait
I would like to add that this stanza made me smile.
you fully anoint the top my head till I tighten the desperate grasp of these traitorous hands practiced fingers sunk deep in your round perfect ass
