Away from chilled melancholy that feeds the distant gray glittered reflections dance, beneath morn’s dazzling sun so innocent and young.
Anxious for renewal dandelions charge the culling clover, first robin solos from thickest thicket as virgin bower twig.
Hope inspires this envoi eager to emerge and remove its dispirited mask.
Perhaps I shall wander from this winding road observe the budded arbors' graceful stir; submissive to another’s will.

good for you, Anthony----there is such a soft grace here, a balm to my own soul, which dwells in far less pleasant climes of late, and I thank you for this touch...
michael
methinks the only change I might make to this is a bit more punctuation----enjoyed each verse, and could clearly see it too...

Thank you Michael for your time and your read. Yes I agree its light on on punctuation, I kind of fret over the amount of punctuation to put in a free verse poem given the shorter lines and line breaks. I appreciate your honest opinion. I pray the climes will provide for you a balm breeze full of peace.

You set the scene, paint the picture, bring forth the emotion inherent in seasonal transition, and then enter, yourself. Yes, it is good to stray from the beaten path in order to immerse oneself in nature's wonderment. You have done so not only for yourself, but for the reader.
(As an aside....arbors needs an apostrophe somewhere, depending upon the number of same.)
Beautiful poem, my friend........written in classic Antman style.

my favorite line is first robin solos and how that lets me hear this single bird singing not just one trill but others. Those three little words create long lovely minutes for me.
i do question the sun as "innocent and young" in S1 though. The day, maybe, but old sun seems forever old to me, and enduring -- innocent ... hm, maybe.
thanks for the read.

Thanks lynn for your thoughts they sure brought a smile to this tired old kisser. Could be the glittered reflections are so innocent and young? : ) I love the robin's solo too!
