Hello everybody! I am glad to be back. For those who do not know me, I am from Romania, and I was an EP member almost from the beginning. For a certain reason I have been absent for the last six months. I have changed lately a couple of e-mails with David in which I told him I missed EP. He encouraged me to come back. So here I am. In the meantime, I have been cooperating with poets on other two poetry sites: TJMF Publishing, whom founder is Jim Furber, also the founder of EP, and Poetry Circle, a good poetry forum. Still I am on them and enjoy what they offer. Some of the poets there are also EP members. Having kept the contact with quite a few of EP members through the two forums, I actually could say I have also been here somehow. EP is very special to me because here is where I begun some years ago my adventure to write poems in English and also because it promotes a family atmosphere. I simply can’t wait to enjoy it again... Vasile

Well, old buddy, I'm sure glad to have you back in the fold. I've missed your writing. With Ken back wouldn't it be great to have Sterling back as well? Can't wait to review your next post. I've already wished you a happy birthday once, but let do that again too. Ron

Thank you very much, friends, for your welcome! It is good to be back, indeed.
Apart from this joy, I should have also added to this note some apologizes, which I omitted. I did ask apologizes recently through private e-mails to the persons involved too, but I think it needs that I should do this publicly too. They owe it.
So, I apologize for I did not refrain from making public here on the EP forum my disappointment or what I felt to be at that time. I should have been patience.
To remember shortly, I was disappointed then for I was not sent any copy of the book whose co-author I was (Transatlantic Crossings) after almost one year after its publication. I put the blame then on Donna Timney and Mike Cotner, but I understand now that I was wrong. Nobody was guilty, I mean nobody. My impatience to see the book pushed me on a wrong way of behavior and finally made me express noisily the feeling. I live at a distance, in Romania, over the ocean, and things like this do not work very easy when people cannot see each other, also considering that the direct communication is almost impossible.
Time has passed and I have reflected more on this. What is clear is that I hate to know that there are people who are upset of me.
In a few words, this is how I see things now.
Years ago I was accepted with all my language mistakes and so on EP, I could be part of a transatlantic project (the book already mentioned), I really became an author of English expression with the help of many EP members. My merits for these accomplishments were only the poems I wrote and the determination to write in a language not mine. That was while everybody involved (Jim Furber, Donna Timney, Michael Cotner, Ken Nye, Lorraine Sautnier and many of the EP members) spent time, effort and money to see the project completed. Being given these circumstances, I can say now that my impatience and my pretensions were mistakes. Though some misinterpretations could have interfered because of the distance I am from everyone involved, I think I was wrong. I was clearly wrong just because it was me who benefited the dedication, hospitality and friendship of Jim, Donna, Mike, Maggie, David, Ken, Lorraine and others, and instead I afforded to claim… disappointment.
I hope that both they and you all will forgive me.
My wish is that everybody should forget this and look for the future. And I do hope that peace will spread all over, in the spirit of Christmas time.
Thanks for understanding.
Vasile
