What a pleasure it is to announce that Ron Wallace has won the Oklahoma Writer's Federation contest in the Poetry Unrhymed Long category with "The Night".
At a bookstore in Atlanta, on the last night of our readings for the America's Emerging Poets Tour 2007 (brilliantly choreographed by Tina, by the way) Lynn, Leo, Tina and I were privileged to hear Ron read this piece.
Ron has also received First Honorable Mention in the Poetry Short Unrhymed category with "Into the Mud".
