Sweet Pea .
The Indigo girl shifts body and soul; dreams and moments unfastened.
She finds her pillow, sprinkled with flowers; tucks it under the coo of her chin.
All the world waits, and yet, she hesitates.
The sun dances within the glow of leaves unfurling; faint voices of birds come and go across the meadow.
Yellow tabby at her feet, purrs and purrs.
She pulls above her head the all-white quilt, and beckons morning to go easy; just long enough to tie up loose ends.[/size]

Very soothing morning poem, Ron. I enjoyed the ease of expression, the imagery, the dreams and moments personified. It is good to spend a few moments upon awakening just to ease into consciousness and be........aware of one's surroundings, appreciative for them.
Yes.....the world can wait a while..........
Enjoyable read. Thanks.

Favorite phrase -- the coo of her chin. Particularly like the magic that happens between "coo" and the double use of purrs a bit later; how the animal comforts of a good snooze come to bear. Places within this not as wonderful for me, but difficult to pinpoint or say why. But, for what I find quite remarkable here, makes the whole well worth the read. A small treasure, I think.

Few can reach this level of endearment Ron, without getting mushy. This waddles up innocently and says love me.

This is the first day of spring, full of coos and chirping birds. You fail to disappoint and I know that I am in for a poetic treat when you've posted. You are unique. I enjoyed the gentle rhyme this offers. Well done.
