Hello all
Still trying to feel my way around here. Quick question - I can't seem to leave spaces at the start of a line. I add spaces, but when I preview, everything is aligned left - very frustrating!
Help please!!

Brian -- I handle spacing with html code. Let me get back to you; I might be able to locate a post about this spacing topic.

Well, can't find the old post so, here goes. I use html code, the ampersand and nbsp followed by a space, but because the code will create a space in this comment as I explain, I will use an asterisk in place of the ampersand, as in *nbsp *nbsp *nbsp
When I use this code for spacing, about five in a row, always separated by spaces and a space between the first letter of word to follow them, will create about a half inch space. When I want a bigger indent, say a two inch indent, I copy the block of four or five codes that I've so far typed and paste them into the line until I have a dozen or 16 repeats to give me the spacing I want. I check out my progress, the look of things, with "preview" until I get the effect desired. Again, the code is &[no space in between]nbsp[followed by a space] and when I use this code I can                         create dramatic spacing for my work. Hope this helps. It's the only way I know of creating spaces here at ep. Let me know if questions? lynn
p.s. that 'dramatic' indent [create dramatic spacing for my work] resulted from typing code three times with appropriate spacing, then copied once, then pasted what I'd copied three times for a total of 12 units of code . . .
