As Ron has previously posted, we lost a long-time member and friend yesterday in Dennis Cook.
Today, with the help of Ron's charming wife, we've sent a plant on behalf of the EP family for Dennis' family to nurture in his memory.
Dennis will be greatly missed.

Dennis Cook was a good person, a special poet and a good friend. We have lost someone unique in him. I have been privileged to be among his friends, even though we have never seen each other. I will miss him very much.
I have a recorded voice mp3 with him reading a short poem. Maybe we could make it accessible here, David, so that we could hear him...
I am, from a distance, with his family and friends this time.

I have not been here in a long while. However, I too, used to call Dennis and swap stories with him. Vet stories, trucking stories and I always found his courage to be inspiring. I was thinking of him today and wanted to read some of his work. I miss him and I'm sure there are a lot of people he touched that miss him today, too. Happy trails Dennis

Ed. I did not have the priviledge of knowing Dennis personally, having come late to this site. I was however, saddened to hear of his death; I'm repeating myself, Ed, but his shinning aura glowed though his work.
He has left us a legacy, and I hope that his work will be published; present and future generations can learn from his wisdom.
